Devizes RFC have committed to developing the Girls game by the introduction of two new female coaches to the Girls set up. Rugby is one of the fastest growing ladies and girls participation sports in the UK and with the revival this season of the Devizes RFC Girls section, the two new coaches will be great additions to the Girls Teams.

Aimi May Dallyn. New to Devizes RFC this season, Aimi is a former Serving frontline Army Medic that has played a high standard of rugby for the Army. Now, with more settled roots in Devizes, she has settled in to be a regular within the Ladies section. Aimi has shown a keen interest in the Girls section towards the end of this year and will commence her rugby coaching journey this off season with a couple of courses lined up ready to kick start the 2019/20 season with a bang.

Emma Matthews (Mufty) As one of the longest serving members of the Devizes Ladies Rugby team, Mufty as she is affectionately known, is no
stranger to rugby and coaching. A committed player, with a knowledge of several different positions, means she will bring a lot of game knowledge to the girls. A Level 2 qualified coach in her own right, Emma has previously worked with the Girls section of the club before work commitments got in the way. She has also spent time delivering rugby to girls at Devizes School.

One thing for sure is that with the two ladies joining the coaching team there will never be a dull moment!

Aimi and Emma join Keith Butler and James Booth in delivering a high level of coaching to the Devizes Girls Teams. For further details please contact juniorchair@devizesrfc.org.uk
